My biggest concern was missing out on physical gold and so I would have liked gold to stay low for a little while. Hummingbird is so undervalued imho. I suppose you don’t have to be Warren Buffet to know whatever you buy connected with gold is better than money in a bank.
Gold pushing up again and HUM buys creeping in more (and ask slowly rising now). Might have been the remaining bits of Jupiter stock the MM's had left to shift from their previously full coffers being now diminished.
Resistance on longer basis is supposedly 2033, 2066ish, and something higher. Off the top of my head.
The short term resistances of 1958 and 1972 got blitzed through.
Having a breather now.
Looks like resistance at the $2000 level on futures. Receding again. Strong try though.
We also know there's been suppression of the SP by Jupiter which won't last for ever (may have finished now or if they haven't won't be around forever).
I've tried to overlay gold and HUM for the past 6 months:

Looks like an opportunity to me to pick up HUM before it's closer to gold again. Ignoring the fact it's well undervalued at all points on the graph ;)
Hi Tiger,
agree but I have give up trying to make sense of it. It frustrates me to much. I just except I know nothing and try and be happy in my ignorance. Easier to do now I am back in the black. Not by much but it all counts.
Hi Nglnv!
I think this may well jump up tomorrow.
It's hard to make sense of the current share price considering the price of gold (and the amount of cash Hummingbird should be making). This really should be in the 40s, not the 30s.
Heard that before, but no history of the time lag. Any idea?
The market often seems to jump into the bigger miners first (despite the inflated P/E's)...but that's quite handy as it let's you add things like this with the knowledge of the gold price prior to the SP rise :)
Looking like futures will break through $2000 today with momentum positive.
Still miners stocks not making the gain's that they should have with the price of Gold so high and sustaining such a high price. Not withstanding the positive looking future story.
$1983 reached already. The bull is rampant.
Metals in general going very well today. Fingers crossed.
Up to $1976 now. So might get there anyway ;)
Yes sorry Rich, it is for Oct settle.
Not gone that high on my screen (peak was 1973 and a bit). You looking at futures rather than spot price?
$1982, just gone ballistic.
That should have been smiley face at the end of that not ?? Clearly doesn’t like emoji’s lol
Just had another look and I think I must have finished off the end of that title above the 355m to mean it was the shares owned by the ii and I would guess that I wasn’t the only one! Making excuses I would say I have never really paid that much attention to Tr-1’s before other than the name of the fund/person and whether the percentage went u or down! Good to know a little more though! Thanks for the enlightenment ??
Cheeky buggar! But yer that would help haha
Well yeah....just read the column headings :p
Looking at the Rns’s that sounds about right, one each of: 45,000, 174,000 & 250,000 as far as I can see! So those numbers aren’t the number of shares they own but the number that are in issue?
Hi retired banker,
So from 6th July (when Jupiter held 5.67) and 13th of August, you’re saying 400,000 share options were exercised?
RetiredBanker - They have to notify every 1% above 3% but the Hummingbird page no longer lists them. Which it should if they're still above 3% and they have to give a percentage if it's above 3%, which they didn't, so it seems most likely the TR-1 RNS is wrong and they've gone below 3%. They could be holding zero shares now for all we know.
