Stranded in Mbeya because @fastjet overbooked my flight and now 'I don't have a seat'. Even worse service from their people at the airport!
FJH only flew 4 of those flights yesterday so hope rest were covered by loaner too late to cancel until FJI in use
thanks guys we are up and running.
Eltonshango, trade price was 19.75
FJH . Operating today so on that basis PJ, indications are the flights are Chocca
Don't worry yourself about whether they are buy or sells. Some sites don't bother to report this. Who knows? And if they are sells , who is buying them? And if they are buys , who is selling them? It's the Price that you can buy at or sell at that must concern you. Remember, if you want to sell, someone must be willing to buy. Bit like your house really.
Could it just be a couple of pairs of transactions where the shares were sold and bought back at same price. I don’t know how or why this would be done, just speculating as there were two pairs of trades for identical numbers of shares. Maybe someone more knowledgeable in these matters will have some idea what was going on here. I know markets don’t like uncertainty, however, a relief that political situation in Zimbabwe seems to be turning out ok, hopefully Mugabe will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. With him out the way the economy will improve in leaps and bounds, fastjet will have a head start in the aviation sector. About time political events moved in our favour for a change. Would dread to think how the economy would fare under Grace Mugabe....
so how come did the price did not drop or sp
Sells

That every Flight to and from all Destinations from DAR bar 1 tomorrow (Sunday) are Sold Out as I do not want to consider the Alternative
Very good news. Now we could do with hearing news about South Africa as time appears to be too short to have aircraft flying there before year end as predicted.
Now fully operational, working todays schedule FJI to commence on 24TH
Indeed, but they only got the go ahead late yesterday.
Good news although a ridiculous delay caused by the regulators Hopefully can sell the extra seats available
And finally we are off https://twitter.com/whthome/status/931350162022305794
Hopefully this will be the beginning of the rebirth of Zimbabwe
DAR MBEYA TOMORROW proving flight
I wonder how long that will last? Hopefully, the political situation will escalate no further and we may continue unimpeded. Meanwhile, all credit to the company for not feeling intimidated.
It is business as usual in some parts of Zimbabwe while President Robert Mugabe is under house arrest, the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) is in control of the countrys state broadcaster and armoured vehicles are on the streets of the capital Harare. Companies such as Fastjet airlines are carrying on with business while ZDF soldiers are arresting what they describe as criminal elements and all leave for military personnel has been cancelled. Fastjet spokesperson, Hein Kaiser, said their flights between South Africa and Zimbabwe and in-country are operating as per their normal schedule.
PJ , playback looked like a practice run to Mbeya
