Liam Payne has been live on radio one today doing an interview and promoting his new song ‘stack it up’ (written by ed sheeran) which was released today. So makes sense for MVR to also promote him today...
Just to add my two-cents in; the pushing out of Liam Payne content is a good move from MVR. Whilst our social numbers may not have grown hugely over the past year, there is still an increase, and therefore offers an incremental audience with which to reach.
It is not uncommon for any publication to reuse existing assets, particularly if they already have that content in their inventory. Just take a look at the likes of NME, Radio 1, Digital Spy, Radio X etc; they all have content but seed it out in different ways, and often revert back to it 'x' months later.
One final thing to add - investors need to be wary that MVR is a music/broadcast organisation, and therefore need to behave as one (which they have been correctly doing). This means not telling everyone everything all the time. Music (and associated content) is consumed far far quicker nowadays than even a decade ago, so capturing moments is more key than longer-tail lead-ups. The element of surprise is more necessary in today’s quickly-digestible space than ever, particularly to get the biggest traction. Also, we need to be conscious that SO MUCH in this industry is embargoed that it will sever contracts if MVR spoke to appease shareholders yet went against contracts/non-disclosures. I’m still absolutely confident in this being huge, but we need to give MVR the necessary time to grow in a space they know better than most.
I dont know about you two
but
Most people on here bought into EVRH for its potential take over
So its still a Take over target, more so than before.
Relax, it will be fine
I just replied to that tweet. Lets be fair, SP drops over a penny in two sessions and the company think it adequate to tweet something from last year!
At best, it's taking the **** and at worst, we, and our money, are all ****ed.
MVR really are getting desperate, tweeting about a show that is getting on to be nearly a year old and making out it is something new. New news required, move forwards not backwards.
