Thanks Bricks - I wonder why so much was cut out of that Proyecto update? Someone in the Spanish office got their wrist slapped for being too upbeat :) On the three year trailing average with rising prices it is a conservative approach but it also protects us in the event of a drop in metal prices, it's not inconceivable that the trailing average could be higher than the spot price. I think in the SS the spot and trailing average roughly aligned, in the PEA for zinc it was ahead, Ag way ahead though I think Pb was lower and now they're all running ahead so there's a logic.
I guess what he is saying then Money is we will still use the 3 year trailing average in our PFS even though the mining reporting code has changed. Imo…it’s a worse case scenario that will be painted and will be extremely conservative but yet extremely compelling at the same time….robust. Looking forward to all being disclosed soon….and we are definitely part of a bigger picture here…plenty happening and lots of news I’m fairly certain will be disclosed soon. Love it when a plan comes together…:-)
Those employment stats are still out there Sheds….even though they got deleted from the proyect Toral website…. https://www-cope-es.translate.goog/emisoras/castilla-y-leon/leon-provincia/bierzo/noticias/europa-metals-iberia-desarrolla-bierzo-proyecto-toral-mineria-subterranea-20210521_1301981?_x_tr_sl=es&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=nui,sc
Tweet late on with the lead price..Following queries; below is the pb from(lme). Euz uses 3y averages from consultants as; showing 3rd parties toral margins on conservative parameters means credibility of a robust project. Price increase great, but bara study ebitda on 3y numbers works v. Well
Thanks Moneymakers.
Money we are definitely part of it….if you look at the last webinar with Zac….LR mentions the quarries and the cleanup operation….the article you posted refers to “ environmental restoration. ” imo. Best D.
Hi Sheds…my initial take on this…if you look at the latest Jorc…mining method has changed from ownership to contractor….so if one is contracting the production out….resources are the contractors….just a thought….Best D

This ended last week too. Just a thought if theres any funding coming from this?
@B1ll we don’t know big secret all we know is we have funding for key PFS components up until they are here we have cash. Plus we haven’t drawn all the grant money only tranche 1 and 2 I presume we’re good for another 4 months until the EU grant arrives or a signature.
MM, Thought that it would have to be by the end of this month - thanks for clarifying.
Hi folks, what is current cash position estimated to be?.
I can see there was a £2M raise August 20 + approx £.3M grant in October 20
Also exciting news

Bricks I just took another look at the latest 'proyectotoral' posting as I remembered it included an estimated figure for additional jobs created for each directly involved in mining Toral. Have a quick look I reckon they have cut loads out of the post including that figure, wonder why?
I'm not sure Mm's but I do think the pandemic has created an unprecedented environment for potential funding. In the past we'd be speculating about sale, JV or off-take within the industry but it appears that big manufacturers in the wider economy are looking to secure their own commodity security so really nothing would surprise me. On top of that is the tantalising prospect of state funding, we know they're concerned about depopulation, we know they have instigated mining retraining in our region and we know that for every job created at Toral there will be numerous knock on ancillary jobs created. Why wouldn't they support the project?
Does anyone think we could come under this funding??

The Aussies increased there end of year reports by a month that has to be released. Judging by the tweeting etc as banker would say RNS tomorrow
Hope so Bricks, would be good to know what Conrad have been up to for the last year. I'm hesitant about celebrating the zinc price too much though as much of it is down to supply problems connected to the energy price explosion. Really we want it to progress in a sustained manner IMO which to be fair was happening before this acceleration. I suppose if it did jolt someone to hurry up and put pen to paper then it mightn't be a such bad thing.
Money…I’m also thinking maybe with them tweeting yesterday about long term purchasing agreements and the current price of Zinc going up every day….we may just be forward selling enough to build a mine….very strong possibility imo….Conrad could be in our news soon.
6 weeks max for what?
I read that bricks...Also China has its own crisis with buildings at the moment. Thats a huge cut but the metals 44kt in 2022 from 217kt this year, the same demand is still going to be needed. As an exploration company we now have a serious advantage metals are about to rise silver is at $23 and lead isnt too bad either $2400 https://markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/lead-price ...All positive we just need the PFS, Funding or TO news very soon for EUZ 6 weeeks max. Sure LR has this in his grasp.
Money…seems like the cost of electricity somehow is helping the price of Zinc…lols :-)
Zinc prices soared more than 8% to above $3,800 a tonne, the highest since June 2007 after top producer Glencore said it was "adjusting production" to save energy costs at its three European zinc smelters. The move follows Belgium-based Nyrstar earlier in the week, which announced it will cut production by up to 50% at its also three European zinc smelters due to soaring electricity prices. Still, sky-high power prices are also lowering demand at metals-manufacturing companies and the Chinese state reserve bureau released 180,000 tonnes of zinc so far this year to contain prices. The global zinc surplus is likely to shrink to 44kt in 2022 from 217kt this year, according to the International Lead and Zinc Study Group. The group expects refined zinc supply to rise by 2.5% YoY to 14.13mt in 2021, primarily driven by 3.2% YoY growth in Chinese production. Global zinc consumption growth is estimated at 6.2% in 2021 before easing to 2.3% next year.

zinc up another 6% https://markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/zinc-price
Close on 2% traded today already…TR1 coming ? Chrisp ?
Mm's I'm just hoping for a blue finish, the trend is more indicative of where we're going IMO so it's encouraging that we've been tentatively moving in the right direction since the middle of last week. Early days but the volume after the decent early buy suggests that there are more watching this stock than perhaps we think sometimes. We should also have shed a few disgruntled investors as well if they took the opportunity.
Possibly not highside see what this afternoon brings... tomorrows Events at Junta could be interesting..Im sure they might need some zinc for the new ebergy efficient buildings...Interesting how the director of mines is also the director for energy.HMMMM
