Bash, I do think Jsmith plays games also and acts dumb.....unless he or she is the village idiot Tanbob states he is.
With bigdish.... I do still feel they will do well it's only time....everyone knew the annual report wasn't gonna be great. I think part of the expansion they have put an ad up for a Chief technology officer for someone based in India.
Following on from that it’s disappointed that some of these restaurants have been in a trail period for 2 months and we haven’t received any information on how much dish has achieved for them
I've never really had a problem with Ronnies de ramping, when things are less than positive he sells out but he knows if this were to be managed properly it's got amazing potential.
When we're in a position to put forward a convincing argument that things are going back in the right direction he'll be back on board on a flash.
Personally It seems like hard work and I don't want to take the chance of being left behind when it suddenly rises, but whatever works for you
Okay bash, I’ll put my issues with the placing etc to one side.
The funding deal is a good one, but only if they manage to get the money. My concern for dish is the lack of usage the current app gets and how dish are going to convince restaurants to sign up and pay money if they aren’t driving any business to the restaurants.
If they can succeed in this and get the funding over the line then I can only see dish going from strength to strength
Unsure if you’re being ironic or not here, but doing what you’re saying Ron has done would just mean he has no credibility to what he says. Tbf in the same way as people who just bounce how great the company is. Why can’t we just have open dialogue and talk about a share properly.
Who invests alot of money into a company and then thrashes it everyday bombarding the board with negativity and then expects the share price to go up after it? Does not make sense lol...... I think Ron got it right by selling first and then thrash it with utter sh-ite in order to buy back in cheaper. I think you should get some tips off Ron Jsmith.
Appreciate your comments Hitt and Spero, it’s such a large sum involved thats why 1 begins to panic at 1p, it’s 50/50 with Dish let’s see what the next update is and go from there
I couldn't agree more with Hit. If you were not invested and discovered Dish this week, ask yourself "Would I invest?". If the answer is yes, then leave your money where it is, or perhaps buy more to average down. If the answer is no, then sell some or all and put your money to work elsewhere. Don't allow yourself to feel trapped waiting to recover losses.
Jsmith if you really think this is going to fail why not at least sell half.
Let’s talk numbers. Imagine you invested £50k in dish, I don’t know what you invested so this is theoretical. You lost half of that on dish, you have £25k.
Why not sell £12k of that and put it into something else.
Spreads the risk, but you will still benefit from dish going up.
Your excuse of I can’t sell I’m at a loss is an awful excuse. Anyone who has read investor books or listened to podcast will know to cut your losers and run your winners.
Or you average down because you believe in the story of the company.
You seem to not believe in dish but continue to run it. It makes zero sense and defies logic.
No more “i can’t sell” I’m at a loss. You are holding because you clearly think this will still do well.
I disagree, AB is not based in the UK this could be a reason and he may not be aware that the marketing g side of things is not as active as it could be
I’m not as I don’t think he needs to hear every thought/concern of people on twitter and messaging boards. I’ll let those who monitor the twitter account take note and pass concerns/thoughts as appropriate to whoever needs to see it. The more likes/retweets it gets, the greater the acknowledgement may be towards it.
Sorry Bash I didn’t want to mention your name just incase, I agree 100%
Who’s going to email AB me or you?
Why are you copying my tweet and posting it in here.. strange to not even mention who posted it, given I’m also commenting in here quite a bit and have the same handle.
Dish last posted on Instagram on the 19th August. The post had 12 likes and the account has 600 followers. This is supposed to be a cool, vibrant and tech enabled company. Yet its imprint on social media is diabolical. What are people in the #BigDish office doing everyday?
