Cautiously optimistic will be a regular term in my vocabulary. The more I read the more confident I feel....although the market didn’t seem to appreciate the news as well as some. Cautiously optimistic and looking forward to the coming year. ??
And the result of all this optimism,....not even the 30
And Akers is up to 9.96% ! Rosen Akers Johnston Duff ...not a bad line up ...supported by Lenovo ...contracts already signed with much more to come ,get in while you can at this price £1-£2 is surely on now ...great investment area undoubtedly set for massive expansion partially consequential to the pandemic ..very exciting for those with stock gla
bagzzz - I have no mixed feelings. It has been brought together excellently and in my opinion a classic case whereby a good percentage of X is better than a large percentage of nothing whilst at the same time seeing one's percentage increase in value. Well done to both the Chris's and those who have believed in the development of such a company and what it has to and can deliver.
My own opinion on your first point is that this was the plan for a while ,deals like that between so many party's takes a while to be agreed and lets face it the Singapore lot only did the deal last week.So i find it hard to believe this wasn't always in the pipeline .Why thats the case and what benefit I havent a clue but thats just my opinion.
As for Akers that one is pretty easy to explain. Chris has been fantastic for all of us but even he admits financially the Dr and his investment house is on a completely different level. Chris owns a lot of stock and by letting the DR in he is safeguarding that potential with the stock he owns already..Giving himself a free carry on his option stock as well.
The avenues and opportunity's this new company opens is not to be undervalued, they are also long term players not flippers. Both Chris's know this is the ideal way to progress this company..
I like what you’re saying.....mixed feelings was more a reflection on waking up with more questions. If this is a unicorn I’m the making....
1) Why would these investment groups agree to take shares and then sell / give them up to someone else....after a very short amount of time? This I really don’t get.
2) Why has Akers sold a chunk to the Dr, when they could be sold for much more in a few months time? This I’m guessing is because he’s tripled his money and is just cashing in quickly.
As I said....a billionaire investing millions at 6 times the price I paid, must be a good thing. Makes no odds if you plan to hold, which I do. The mixed feelings will abate when above 34p for 5 consecutive days! Feels like a good outcome, but always cautiously optimistic.
GL all
Couldn’t agree more. How anyone can view today’s announcement with mixed feelings is beyond me
Morning Guys..I'm really surprised at that comment..Lets look at the facts. This guy is a billionaire even dwarfing Akers money who will end up owning 20% of the company when the warrants are excercised which they will be. Chris has taken his options at 8p sold half of them straight away to this guy giving him 22m plus on a free and a few quid left over.So he has a more than he had yesterday.Chris J has given him a pittance at 25p to show his commitment to the new money.
The billionaire has just done something similar over at AAA and then started buying on open market. He will no doubt do the same here to take the price were he wants to excercise his warrants at 30p.. He's not done this without knowing whats coming here he will have seen a lot more than we have..He also hasn't invested this level of commitment to turn 5% or 10% either. He will be here for eventual takeover..
So mixed feelings oh no..this is absolutely brilliant news for those of us who will still own a chunk of Dev in 3 or 4 months...
