Interesting times, certainly.
US will definitely get 4d - in the same way as they've got Seres
Is anyone here in on tils? The dual listing kills off gains each day.
I.e. UK rises in morning, then if in the afternoon the Nasdaq has no volume or sentiment is different across the pond it pulls back the UK listed SP.
Anyone thinks this will happen here or do you think the yanks will get 4d?
Excellent résumé sunnyca of what is ahead.
The possibility of a sudden placing is now on the backburner and it gives time for 4D to report on its next news which could make this look ridiculously cheap.
Nothings a certainty but this Bod is ticking all the right boxes atm.
Exciting times indeed.
Rob it's about as wrong as your spelling of the word, I've traded on ASX and NASDAQ with 7 companies over the years, trading since 1981 when you had to buy through the bank, all 7 of the companies were held on AIM initially, YOU do not decide where the shares you sell or buy come from when on dual listing, especially if the broker/trading platform is international. Stop being such a d**k, the liquidity is crucial in any share for driving the sp and the NASDAQ is far better regulated than Arse In Mouth which is renowned for shorts and repression of certain co's sp's to facilitate not so kosher trades. This company will be a best in class company in America. 4D know this, ffs they're PHD's in most cases, do you really think they're not capable of grasping simple economic variables? The NASDAQ market will bulldoze through the bull**** in this market. Seen it all before, if you are prepared to wait a couple of years to become wealthy then wait. The rest can go to the Bingo hall or BET 385 or whatever apps are available.
The share price should remain the same on both exchanges...... There may be times that's not the case but overall it will be.
A NASDAQ listing will be fabulous for 4D and for us invested here..... We've all seem the volatility for want of a better word that AIM can bring even after good news.
Q1 was getting close so we now have a funding solution well into 2021.
The prices will tend to align, there may be some variance but any arbitrage usually doesn't last too long. They will be round about the same. Plenty of CDIs on LSE trading around the price of their US counterparts
Wromg, you cannot trade your AIM shares on the US listing
You will need to have seperate stock holdings for both exchanges
Lets not mislead the poor investors guys
Just to make it perfectly clear, if you own shares that has dual listing you can buy and sell on either exchange, normal intraday trade fees apply, even CNC stock can be traded this way but of course isn't usually intraday. The main benefits of dual listing are :- Much better liquidity and of course a much broader market regarding funding, end of, that's how simple it is.
Robsaunders, arrogant statement to say the least, It's beyond belief some of the twaddle posted on here by newbies one being our friend "Rob", if you really knew your stuff you wouldn't post such Guff.
Sorry, did i hit a sensitive point !!
I only state the facts, and most investors are not sophisticated so i can only observe and direct them in the best way possible :)
Robsaunders... patronising idiot
However! US investors can buy into LOAC (effectively the new DDDD group) in 24 mins!
Totally wrong
You have a difference in the curency bewtween Sterling and Dollar and sometimes you may be able to do a ARB trade, but way too sophisticated for most of you on here
13% of the company's shares will trade on NASDAQ until such time as the company raises more capital on NASDAQ. Once listed on NASDAQ there will probably be huge US institutional and fund demand and so a capital raise at a significant premium is definitely on the cards in Q1 2021
Incorrect. If the price is higher on NASDAQ then you could transfer your cheaper AIM shares to NASDAQ and sell at the high price. The prices on both exchanges will be the same. DDDD will start off with most shares trading on AIM and therefore AIM will wag the tails dog unless you have US investors seriously bidding up the limited US stock.

RE: US listingToday 13:45
So is a Nasdaq listing the golden goose that so many think it will be? Unless you actually buy shares from that market?...
I would think you would have to buy on the NASDAQ. If what people are saying is true that if it explodes on the NASDAQ it does not mean it will on AIM.
Won't happen - the two prices should correlate exactly. Otherwise, you have an arbitrage opportunity. Very rare and any gaps will quickly be closed.
Not meaning to be negative, 4D is by far my largest holding and I firmly believe in the company but am wondering if the AIM share price could be left behind if US investment mainly affected the Nasdaq price...
So is a Nasdaq listing the golden goose that so many think it will be? Unless you actually buy shares from that market?...
That doesn't always happen Lukin, don't know why but you only need to look at such as CCL they are listed on both but when you calculate the exchange rate they don't work out the same
Lukin, simple answer .....no
Novice question here chaps but is there a direct link in performance between both markets when a company has a dual listing? In layman’s terms, say the Nasdaq price goes up 25% in one day...does that generally read across to the UK listing?...Thanks :-)
