Ones that wanted to sell have already for the 2p warrants. The ones that want to sell have been clearing the 3p warrants this week. Once gone and just sticky holders. It should move up, especially if what i think is coming gets realised. 6 months time and the use of CTEA's system will be written into law. The digital world is coming.
This is way bigger than getting us back to normal and Cov-ID which I believe CTEA are about to see an explosion of work from when lockdown lifts.
Taken from the Policy paper CTEA have been invited to "contributing from the perspective of a future identity service provider".
Copy and paste of the first few para's, link if you want to read more. It has become increasingly important in this digital age to be able to establish trust, particularly online. This is the foundation thriving markets are built on. Having an agreed digital identity that you can use easily and universally will be the cornerstone of future economies.
There are times in day-to-day life when you may be asked to prove something about yourself to access a service or product. When buying alcohol you may need to prove you are over 18. When opening a bank account you need to certify who you are and where you live. When starting a new job you need to clear pre-employment screening.
This might be easy if you have a passport or driving licence and you are able to offer these face to face. At other times it can be difficult. You may not have recognised physical documents or may not be able to travel to prove you are who you say you are. Physical documents can also be stolen, falsified or misplaced. They can be expensive to replace and their loss can lead to identity theft and fraud.
This government is committed to solving these problems digitally and without the need for a national identity card.
25m warrants @3p to be exercised in next two years. Approx 8% dilution. No one will exercise them unless materially above placing price and won't be all at once. So real impact totally negligible espec once SP rerates when major LFT contracts get awarded to AVCT, ODX, ABDX etc.. which almost certainly will have need for digital passports.
The company has everything there now to rocket the only reason we arnt at least 6p is because another 50 million shares have been issued. IMHO investors are battered by the p&ds. It’s only contracts and green backs that matter now . News about Africa ID and the JV must be due shortly.
I can see this putting a lot of new investors minds at rest (myself included) I had been wondering if this was a bit of a dodgy buy.
During that interview he has told us what we want to hear and then some. Was considering getting out while I still had minimal losses this morning but this is the real deal I will be holding for the next update at least.
CTEA offer the complete covid package offering tests and a passport ID type service and are now in talks with Public health Scotland and the UK Government's Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)
CTEA offer one of the better LFT on the market with the link up with BHA Medical. How many people go to football each week? That’s a lot of test and tracking. CTEA’s system also works with other firms tests, they just happen to have a joint venture with one firm.
Other listed companies with lateral flow tests or plans..
ODX - £151m market cap (other business also) AVCT - £485m market cap (other business also) BRH - £37m market cap (no test ready yet) NCYT - £512m market cap (other business also)
Feel free to list more.
CTEA current market cap = £8m
CTEA Joint venture with BHA Medical, the exclusive UK distributer of the Healgen 20 min tests.
Not sure other than looks like MMS filling orders why we are pegged right down here. It’s so difficult to buy any volume - I’ve repetitive strain injury from refreshing - MMS wouldn’t fill my order to buy or give me a quote on any drops to here. It’s taken me quite some time. So background buy order is being filled.
Potential here for company to make a lot of global bucks !
Did I hear correctly.. Mentioning supplying tests to the public health Scotland? LFT's are ours. Moving Scotland off the 48 hour test results with our tests? People are forgetting we have the test deal with one of the LFT on the governments shortlist. Getting back to normal will involve a lot of LF testing. Low market cap, 273m shares. Can see a huge rise here this year. GL
Makes sense why he plugged the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport as I think they have the full tools to allow or deny fans for example into football grounds in June. Great interview IMO DYOR
Yes I have seen those, they are opinion pieces only, I saw the clip on TV and it is not a statement it was a knee jerk consideration. However, once the policy makers get around the table they will quickly realise that the app is not appropriate, it will need a large number of changes and for someone that has experience of NHS application changes, they are far far to slow. I know where I'm placing my money at the moment and it really doesn't matter what the gov give CTEA to do, their tech can span a number of areas that need to be addressed. Looking at how the government is throwing around money in dealing with this pandemic, at £9m mkt cap, this only needs a sniff of something positive from the Gov to have it multibag in no time at all.
