Whats the current market cap
I doubt there are many companies still able to make a profit during H1 2020 so I am quite happy with the results
Good solid results but as expected really! Did i see a suggestion of diversification for the future??
I personally wouldn't be surprised if we see a large red day tomorrow, profits are significantly down compared to the same time last year and very little revenue growth. However, it is still very positive to be turning a profit, despite the poor economic conditions in H1 of 2020. If we are able to secure those large projects stated in the prospectus, then I expect to see a good set of results come the end of the financial year.
I agree Simms very strange there is no statement, would of been good to get a good overview before the financial data. I personally don't think that we need to announce ever project, as a lot of them are very small in relation to the revenue bought in. However, I believe we should be getting quarterly operational updates which includes how many we have won etc and all large projects in excess of RMB100 million should be RNS'd.
Yes I agree very impressive results despite the pandemic very encouraged by this and nice to see a perkier share price but way still undervalued
No dividend but that was almost expected but can see it more likely at the next set of results. pretty solid and hopefully HK market see it favourably. odd how there is no Chairmans covering letter or anything else as the text is pretty basic. They really need to get a grip on comminication as surely some of the 21 contracts signed had merit to report to the market and give a bit more background on. Backlog of orders is very impressive.
Why are they not releasing this sort of news to the market? Backlog of RMB 528m ?
During the reporting period, 21 new contracts were signed, with the contract amount (excluding VAT) of RMB115.0 million. As of 30 June 2020, we had a backlog of 49 contracts with an amount (excluding VAT) of RMB528.1 million.
Simms45 I thought the exact same, however it does mention that the board was meeting today. I assume that Richard Bennett is still in the UK, therefore the meeting was likely held this morning UK time. So I am guessing that the results will be released on opening tomo?
Ticking up but when will results be released as i thought it was today? Maybe out of hours release but omens look good.
Looking very positive, often this share has slowly moved down before quick sharp turns upwards. Less than 2 years ago we were sub 1p now we are moving up from a drop that took us down to 4.5p. The real value here will be seen in 2-3 years, I’m thinking easily 20p+

I haven't commented for a while as to be honest not a lot is happening until we get a results update and possible special dividend update tomorrow. Still great value and we should see some bounce back towards the HK float price if investors start to see longer term value, key project updates are going to be the key as the value is still there up to 15p a share based on the performance and value ratio. The company just needs to show its plans in depth and how it is getting on with the execution of them. Coming clean on the Double River share dump might help too if they know that they have sold all the shares they were allocated as this would explain the 50-60% devaluation of the SP since the opening bell.
In addition, to my research this morning I discovered that the Shareholding Disclosure rules are different on the HKEX. On AIM Shareholdings RNS's are issued once an individual or group crosses the 3% threshold, however this is 5% on the HKEX. The Double River shareholding represented 4.34% of all shares once the loan was converted, therefore if Double River were to liquidate their position there would be no need to notify via RNS. This could potentially explain why there was such a crash in SP on the first day and no shareholdings notification. It does baffle me why there was no lock-up requirements implemented by the BOD on the loan conversion, considering the substantial difference in conversion price and offering price.
I was re reading the relisting prospectus this morning and came across this:
"As at the Latest Practicable Date, we had three letters of intent in relation to ethanol production system projects with an aggregate expected investment amount of approximately RMB680 million."
This would suggest that the large future projects in the prospectus have been secured and signing these deals is a matter of formality. I am expecting the half year results to be fairly decent due to the significantly increased contract backlog from 2019.
