Well said Tred. I agree.
Yatak, I would add that above convenience it is about profitability and actual function, you will notice the resident trolls here never talk at length about what Bidstack are trying to do, for the simple reason they have no idea.
Bidstack are trying to create a semi automatic market / matching platform for developers/publishers, agencies and brands, safety and reporting guaranteed - optimising campaigns for agencies/brands and income for developers with appropriate placements.
Think about all the time/effort involved in case studies, lumen research and Pubguard acquisition, all foundations to deliver a super reliable and efficient system with potential for vast commercial scale that works for all parties that still does not exclude developers from brokering individual deals if they want to.
Not a single detractor here or anywhere else has ever managed to explain coherently why any of the relevent players (developers, publishers, brands and ad agencies) would want this to fail, as such this new ad category will be huge. So IMO it is really a case of whether Bidstack can nail the win, and it looks pretty positive for them at the moment.
Nothing is stopping them, and nothing is stopping them from doing their own marketing and PR but the majority of large developers/publishers outsource it due to convenience.
They can let Bidstack do all the work and then still make profit from it. Sure they would make larger profits doing it themselves but it would cause the creation of a department for it, staffing for the department, training and time to obtain the advertisers and negotiate terms. Or they could just do it with bidstack and avoid all of that.
Most days Girdlez. You think we'll see 4p soon..or are you a 10p gent?
And yet you still post day in day out helx
