Thanks Jh
I do appreciate that. And you do make good points.
I don’t consider myself a big deal but if I sell out I’ll post it. Good luck
Crystal amber have told them to cut costs, concentrate on monetizing the existing assets, and no new investments. I don’t foresee any news tomorrow that would be transformative as you hope I am afraid. I hope I am wrong. I think it’s just one of those investments that as you say will give 10 or 20% over the next 18 months. I will live with that but quite understand other investors moving on. Good luck whatever you do anyway
JH
yes you’re quite correct.
FW, spin and bridgecomm could generate serious revenue and could be very valuable.
But the board of ALM don’t ever seem to do a decent job.
That’s my dilemma. If I make 10-20% profit tomorrow or soon after I’ll likely sell
Held for about 18 months
Echo1. Normally what you suggest I.e sell if nothing happens tomorrow is ok. But I suggest it might be different here. ALM is an investor in other companies. It is there where the value is. Federated wireless holding alone is probably worth more than ALM Patience and waiting for the value in their holdings to be monetized is the strategy for me. The ALM price would probably reduce as holdings are monetized but hopefully the sum of the parts will be a lot more value. Certainly crystal amber believe that. Obviously dyor but think a bit deeper here rather than just the ALM share price can’t hurt
42p is my break even. I should be grateful as I sold £10K of Lloyd’s at 57p and bought here at 42p and Lloyd’s is down at 33p. Small consolation after all my other stock market disappointments. I would have thought the price would already be adjusted for what the update is tomorrow so I’m not overly excited. I need £2 put make alm the pain worthwhile
I need 6/7p increases to break even
Traded ALM in the past and of course got the Hawkeye divi so past profit is just short of £600
If the market loves it and we soar I’ll stick around
If we potter upwards I’ll probably sell
Thoughts anyone?
What's people thoughts on tomorrow . I need this to go up by 18p just to break even. If does I am out just long as I get my money back . Been in here to long .
