c'mon, OPHR - most other oilies are flying today!
Strange, all the big trades have disappeared!
Some serious action on here today http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareTrades.asp?shareprice=OPHR
Agreed - this will easily be 100p once finance is in place for fortuna ... nice to finally break thru 70p, we should see a steady climb from here! GLA
Here's hoping we get up to 1 GBP fairly soon in the first quarter and onward and upwards from there.
Superb RNS, $1.2B of funding on the way for fortuna from leading Asian banks, big re-rate once t’s crosses and i’s dotted. Not long to wait now
Big re rate predicted this week on funding deal.
66.25p Change: 2.75p (+4.33%) and a better finish at best of the day with the UT @ 66.25p
any update is welcome. regardless of the content (no big surprises this morning) it just reminds the media and investors that OPHR still exists, and that the SP is now crazily (low) - IMHO... merciless drift on low vols without news...
After a loewer opening suddenly it spike up and is staying there as the order book got stronger on the bid side intraday chart http://charts.moneyam.com/Chart.aspx?Provider=Intra&Code=ophr&Size=850*480&Skin=RedWhite&Scale=0&Type=2&Cycle=MINUTE1&IND=&Layout=Intra;IntraDate&E=UK&XCycle=Hour2&Fix=1&SV=0
update has come. not alot in it really. "The Final Investment Decision, based on this sequence of approvals, would be expected to take place during Q1 2018". moved to next year then as expected!
second day of bouncing and managing alright just now
i have averaged down further, confident that any sort of update will give this a bit of oomph, nevermind the much-anticipated Fortuna confirmations, which should send this much higher again... just sooner rather than later, pls!
The 3 monthly looks horrendous and the volumes are notoriously low, indicating that interest is virtually non existant, this has been a long decline and i can see little to change things, I think investers are bored and there are better investments around in the oil & gas sector.
Has dropped on low volume and Norges Bank have added - if the drop had been on higher than usual volume I'd have been a bit more concerned. Will be interested to see if any IIs have added more. News on Fortuna needs to be good though or it will take a hit - I've positioned with an amount where I'm prepared to take that risk.
Im tempted to buy for the bounce but have been bit by this dog before so wide berth for now.
After saying i had all i wanted, I've ended up adding some more today to get my average down to just under 63p, but that is the lot now. Good to see LMI went up a bit for you - I've been avoiding that for a while, although i do trade platinum itself a lot these days. Also tempted by TLW around here but already have a fair bit in oil so being a bit cautious.
wish i had bought Talk Talk (TALK) instead at 160p (sub 160p if i was quick) after interim results RNS this morning. it closed at 178p! funded my purchase today by reducing my Lonmin (LMI) holding at 69p yesterday. i did buy other oilies today.. TLW at days low and some PFC. Tullow down a big 15% over the last week. looking at the chart, c.205p is peak of diagonal trendline going as far back as 2014.
Nice price, added a few more myself today but not that cheap! I've got all that i want now and will see what happens with finance and FID news on Fortuna.
10:48:34 64.4853 50,000 O 63.5000 64.0000 Buy 64p not mine!
for a few @ 61.75p with 2 x 5000 share buys. more than 5000 shares and MM wanted over 62p.. someone bought 10,000 at under 61.75 though. maybe i should change my broker!
dropping again. needs to hold 63/64p level. if not i think is sure to retest the recent 61.5p low. not looking too oversold on the RSI so 60p is possible soon.
Another bad finished yesterday 67.50 v 68p, still up for the day but a bullish start of the day as a larger trade 38K had to pay premium 68.3798p when offer was is still 68p 08:51:31 68.3798p 38,022
Did you top up more at 69/70?
yes still in Lonmin. I'm watching it. looks range-bound at the moment. so maybe offer some good trading ops. 67-75p looks the range for now.
