Probs an inside job. All the peeps that lost jewellry etc. will have been heavily insured........I hope :)
My heart go,s out to all the people who lost valuables ,not something I would wish on any one .
I could have had a safety deposit box in hatton garden !
Never count your chickens with aim ,deal or no deal ,only time will tell if we all live long enough .patience is a virtue Unfortunately not with aim just gives more time to relive you of your funds .as they say GLA and happy dreaming for that pot of gold .but please buy extra bottom draws as room could be a concern ,a wood burning stove is a good alternative investment to relive and which clears the bottom draw and at least you can see your money go and at least see the flame and have the heat ,unlike suspension or conciliation ,you still have the logs .not sure what comparison I had tried to achieve ,I'm sure you will work it out .GLA
I've been in Max since 2009 and never ever posted, but now I'd like to give my tuppence worth since we all seem to be getting frustrated with no news. Well I think no news is good news, I think a deal has been done in principle with Sberbank and AGR and we are just waiting on confirmation of extensions etc. from the Kazakh authorities. The question is what is the deal? Our market cap on suspension was 3.47M and 2 Billion shares and assuming AGR are still putting in 37M then if I were AGR I would want 20 Billion new shares! What would that then do to the share price? Not a lot, maybe a small rise but then any deal is better than administration. I think a share consolidation would then follow and a gradual increase in the share price, at least we would have directors on the board who have put their money where their mouth is! Any thoughts?
If we can't buy or sell what harm would it be to mxp to let people know what's going on. Would it hurt to say we are still in talks or we are winding things down?
Well if its going to take some time like the one below i would be confident of a deal, if it was admin it would of happened below. Agr will invest knowing they will get a circa 750% style jump on retrading.... Easily making them 3-5 times there investment
Anyone else want to email him see if you can get anything out of him? tr@maxpetroleum.net
Well it depends with how quick the negotiations are going. A case in point is BZM which was suspended 22 September 2014 only for trading to be restored on the 5th March 2015 with a 750% rise on the same day. So lets hope it does not take that long. I am sure MXP would want to take advantage of the recovering oil prices. It's to MXP advantage if a deal could be struck at these low oil prices as the burden would be reduced as oil prices recover though I am pretty sure there will be a clause to take into account any material oil price rises. Fingers crossed. GLA and Stay Blessed.
Anyone know how long suspension is for?
could be this week
Like you thoughts ,GLA and if not tomorrow the day after :-)
Will max also rise again this Easter? :) 7am tomorrow could be the pivotal day gla
the longer the silence the better it looks in my eyes anyway !
I'm hoping that this suspension was a smokescreen to use as a transfer of business. Before suspension there was some rather large buys and im hoping that was from people in the know. Fingers crossed for rns stating business as usual agr are going to take us forward...
If there were any rumours, they would have no effect as we are still in suspension. If we come through this though, we'll all be kicking ourselves for not loading up more at 0.125p :) GL
No one heard any rumours
The longer this drags on the more glimmer of hope i have, if it was admin no questions, then they would of done so weeks ago.... Discussions must still be ongoing hence the wait, not saying a deal has been done or even will be done, but there is hope one can come out of these ongoing discussions. Curious to see what out market cap/shares in issue will be should a deal go through. Could be looking at a daniel stewart style bounce on re-trading. Then lets not forget we was worth 1.64 just a few months ago, when money was needed just like it is now, so with the said money from agr invested, one could argue max would be worth more than the 1.64p if agr get nur-1 re-entered on anticipation of results i would expect 2-3p . Long way to go, but max might just pull this deal off and be a 20 bagger.
I expect Mike Young is busy transferring his ill-gotten gains in to his wife's name. Once that's done you might see an announcement. ;-)
must we wait? Is there a limit as to how long they can drag this out? I get that they have suspended dealings whilst they agree or disagree the finances - but surly there is a rule somewhere that says an announcement has to be made on halted stocks after a period of time?
It's so exciting to see some stocks doing wonders of AIM knowing fully well that one of your portfolio stocks is in line to do same as well. Fingers crossed. GLA and stay blessed.
Almost two months since the RNS warning us that the outlook is negative for all, unless re-financing is arranged and agreed. Funnily enough though, I feel there is less risk now than back then.
It's April 1st today... back to normality tomorrow then, with possibly a good-news RNS before Easter!! :) GLA.
Elvis Is also our COO too... Gla
I have been reading that one Mr Putin of Russia is actually a large share-holder in MXP. There has been speculation that he has been using his influence to get debts cancelled and helping the company back to a viable position. This is rather encouraging that he might be working in all our interests and might explain the long silence from MXP.
