UGANDA - AVIVI-1 EXPLORATION WELL SPUD
Tower Resources plc (AIM: TRP) has advised that the Avivi-1 exploration well spud at 14.30 (GMT) on 13 February 2010.
The well is being drilled to an estimated depth of 853 metres. Operations are expected to take two to three weeks and a further announcement will be made once drill results have been determined.
As previously advised, Global Petroleum has elected to maintain its option to earn a 25% interest in EA5 by funding 25% of the cost of the second exploration well.
