Transaction in own shares/TVR

The Company announces that it bought back for cancellation 35,000 ordinary shares at 129p per share yesterday, and today it bought back for cancellation 65,000 ordinary shares at 138p per share pursuant to the Company's general authority to buy its own shares.

Following this transaction, there are 93,006,577 ordinary shares and 58,306 preference shares in issue. The preference shares do not carry voting rights therefore for the purposes of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules the total number of voting rights in the Company is 93,006,577.

The above total voting figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or change to their interest in, Tottenham Hotspur PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
