Transaction in own shares

Real Estate Credit Investments PCC Limited announces that on 19 December 2011 it purchased 250,000 preference shares at a price of 92.5p per share. The purchased shares are expected to be held in treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company has a total of 48,807,804 preference shares in issue. The number of preference shares purchased represented 0.51% of the total preference shares in issue prior to such purchases. The preference shares do not hold voting rights.
