Transaction in Own Shares

Ambrian announces that on the 2nd April 2009 it acquired 5,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a price of 14.5p per Ordinary Share. 

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 4,380,000 Ordinary Shares as treasury shares. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 106,981,208.
