The board of the Company announces that its subsidiary undertaking Brown Eyed Boy Limited has secured a ‚£1.2m order for its recently piloted show "How Not To Live Your Life" from BBC3. The order represents a commissioning of six thirty minute series of the sitcom to be delivered in 2008.

Furthermore, the board is pleased to announce that the US broadcaster ABC has also recently commissioned a pilot of the show for an initial fee of $100,000. The US show will be produced by Touchstone. In the event that a series is commissioned Brown Eyed Boy will receive a fee of $32,500 per show and 10% of net profits arising from the worldwide exploitation of the series.

Written by, and starring, comedian Dan Clark and directed by Clark and Brown Eyed Boy's managing director, Gary Reich, the UK version of the show features Clark as "Don", a neurotic, single thirty-something who fails to navigate his way through life.

The US version will be executive produced by writer Dan Clark, and by Gary Reich, the founder and managing director of Brown Eyed Boy; and by showrunners Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventemilia. It will be a co-production between Touchstone Studios and Media Rights Capital for ABC.

The US pilot is scheduled to be shot early in 2008. Dan Clark will not write the US pilot but a contract clause means he and Reich have first refusal to be executive producers if the show is picked up for a series.

Reich said: "There is a kind of Anglo-hysteria in Hollywood at the moment. US comedy writers are suffering a lot of doubt over their direction and are looking to the UK as a guide. How Not to Live Your Life is quite traditional but has a unique twist and instantly appealed to the studios and networks."
