AECI Limited (`the Company")

In accordance with FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company advises that its issued share capital is 123 742 578 divided into:

3 000 000 5.5% cumulative preference shares of R2.00 each; and

120 742 578 ordinary shares of R1.00 each.

The voting rights of all of these shares are identical with each share carrying the right to one vote.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, AECI Limited under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
