Share buyback

Vietnam Infrastructure Limited ('VNI', the 'Company') announces that on 24 January 2014, pursuant to the share buyback authority granted to the Company's Board of Directors on 27 July 2012 and in accordance with the terms referenced in the share buyback programme update announcement on 6 January 2014, Scepter Asia Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, purchased 1,681,000 ordinary shares of USD0.01 each at an average price of USD0.39 per share. 

Following this transaction, VNI has spent USD15.2 million overall repurchasing 44,553,496 shares which are held as treasury shares. The total number of shares acquired represents 11.1 percent of the Company's 402,100,000 ordinary shares in issue and as a result, total voting rights in the Company have been reduced to 357,546,504.
