Motive Television PLC24 June 2005 MOTIVE TELEVISION PLC NEW CONTRACT Motive Television PLC has been informed that the Irish state broadcaster RTEhas agreed to commission from its Irish subsidiary, Motive Television Ltd ("Motive"), a new live Gaelic Games series. The weekly show will be on-air for tenweeks, starting in late July. Since 1999, Motive's Dublin production arm has produced "Breaking Ball", RTE'sweekly Gaelic Games sports magazine. Cormac Hargaden, the Head of Television for Motive said: "We are delighted to have won this tender in the face of intense competitionfrom Ireland's leading independent producers. It is an opportunity for thecompany to consolidate our reputation as leading suppliers in the sports genrein Ireland." Mick Pilsworth, executive chairman of Motive Television PLC, said: "This live TV commission is a terrific accomplishment by the Motive Televisionteam in Dublin, Cormac Hargaden and Trisha Canning, and is a reflection of theirgrowing stature as independent producers in the Irish market".
