Chrysalis VCT PLC03 April 2006 Chrysalis VCT plc4 April 2006 Offer for subscription ("the Offer") Pursuant to the Offer that opened on 2 February 2006, the Directors of ChrysalisVCT plc announce the following allotments that took place on 3 April 2006: 398,882 D ordinary shares of 1p each ("D Shares") payable at 100p per share. 72,290 E ordinary shares of 1p each ("E Shares") payable at 100p per share. Following these allotments the Company now has 398,882 D Shares and 475,937 EShares in issue. Included in the above were allotments to the following: Chris Kay, a member of the investment management team, was allotted 103,000 D Shares at a price of £1 per share. Following this allotment he now holds shares which represent 0.3% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Peter Harkness, a Director, was allotted 5,150 D Shares at a price of £1 per share. Following this allotment he now holds shares which represent 0.03% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Application will be made shortly for these shares, which will rank pari passuwith existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to the Official List of the UKListing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market forlisted securities. The Offer (for both D Shares and E Shares) is expected to remain open until 5April 2006 unless fully subscribed earlier.
