The Board of Hightex has been notified by Gartmore UK & Irish Smaller Companies Fund that it participated in the placing announced today by subscribing for 8,333,334 new Hightex ordinary shares at the placing price of 3 pence per Hightex ordinary share. This shareholding is equivalent to 5.62% of the issued share capital as enlarged by the placing.
