Oxus Gold PLC31 May 2006 For immediate release: 31 May 2006 Oxus Gold plc Holdings in Company Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") received notification on 25 May 2006pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 that The Capital GroupCompanies, Inc, on behalf of its affiliates, has decreased its shareholding by1,878,100 and now holds 8,608,000 ordinary shares of 1p each representing 2.89per cent of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. Oxus also received notification on 26 May 2006 pursuant to the provisions of theCompanies Act 1985 that RAB Capital plc, acting as investment manager for anumber of commingled funds, has increased its shareholding by 6,341,952 and nowholds 85,250,406 ordinary shares of 1p each representing 28.60 per cent of theordinary issued share capital of the Company. Oxus also received notification on 26 May 2006 pursuant to the provisions of theCompanies Act 1985 that Fidelity International Limited and its direct andindirect subsidiaries, being non-beneficial holders, has decreased itsshareholding by 5,782,752 and now holds 26,371,582 ordinary shares of 1p eachrepresenting 8.85 per cent of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
