Further to the announcement released by the Company earlier today concerning a conditional share placing to raise gross proceeds of $120.5 million (Stg£81.0 million), the Company has today sent a circular containing a notice of EGM ("Circular") to shareholders. The EGM is convened to be held on 21 April 2010.
Pursuant to rule 20 of the AIM & IEX Rules, copies of the Circular will shortly be available for inspection at www.petroceltic.ie.
