PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients has today been notified of the following purchases of shares from the open market by certain Directors.

Mr. Tan Boon Seng's shares were acquired indirectly through Wang Tak Company Limited ("Wang Tak") (a company wholly owned by Lee Hing Development Limited where Mr. Tan Boon Seng is a substantial shareholder). Mr. Paul Selway-Swift's shares were acquired indirectly through his wife.

Subsequent to the above purchases, the interests held by these Directors in the Company are as follows:-

Mr. Tan Boon Seng: 22,854,150 ordinary shares all held indirectly through Wang Tak

Mr. Paul Selway-Swift: 380,171 ordinary shares of which 200,171 ordinary shares are held indirectly

through his wife
