DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Board of JKX Oil & Gas announces that it has been informed by Sir Ian Prosser of his intention to resign as Chairman of the Company to pursue other interests. He will step down as Chairman and from the Board with immediate effect.

Nigel Moore, currently Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, has been appointed as the new Chairman.
