Appointment of non-executive director

Brooks Macdonald Group plc ("The Group", "Brooks Macdonald") is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Michael Burgess as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 August 2020.

Mr. Burgess (aged 54) is a Non-Executive Director of OakNorth Bank and Non-Executive Chairman of Invest & Fund.

Mr. Burgess was previously a main Board Director of Alliance Trust plc, CEO of Alliance Trust Savings, and CEO and Co-Founder of Exchange Associates. He has held a series of senior executive and non-executive positions in financial services businesses, including Lloyds Banking Group and Scottish Widows, for over 25 years.

Commenting on the appointment, Alan Carruthers, Chairman of Brooks Macdonald, said:
