UTV Media plc announces that on 4 January 2013 the following directors notifiedthe Company that on 4 January 2013 they purchased the following shares in theCompany:

Richard Huntingford (Chairman & Non Executive Director): 25,000 ordinary sharesat £1.29 per share

Stephen Kirkpatrick (Non Executive Director): 8,666 shares at £1.29 per share

The above share purchases by the two Board members form their totalshareholding in UTV Media plc, representing 0.026% & 0.009% respectively of thetotal issued share capital of the Company.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a).
