The Company received notification from Equity Trust Services Limited as thetrustees of the Regent Inns plc Employee Share Trust ("the Trust") informing itthat on 20 October 2006 they purchased 250,000 ordinary shares at 74p per share.The Trust now holds 687,500 shares representing 0.61% of the issued ordinaryshare capital of the company.
