Voting Rights and Capital as at 30 December 2011.
This announcement is made in accordance with DTR 5.6.1.
As previously announced on 25 November 2011, on 1 December 2011 Polymetal International plc (the "Company") purchased for cancellation 3,305,988 of its own ordinary shares at a price of 920 pence per ordinary share (the "Repurchase Shares") from Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch (acting as stabilising manager) pursuant to the terms of the repurchase option described in the Company's prospectus dated 28 October 2011. The Repurchase Shares were cancelled by the Company on 1 December 2011.
As at 30 December 2011, the Company's issued share capital consists of 382,685,782 ordinary shares of no par value, each carrying one vote. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 382,685,782.
The above figure (382,685,782) may be used as the denominator for the calculation of the percentage of voting rights held in the Company, or any change in the percentage of voting rights so held, required to be notified by any person to the Company under the FSA's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
