NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTONS BY DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

This notification is made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules

Petropavlovsk PLC (the 'Company') hereby announces that Mr Dmitrii Chekashkin, Chief Operating Officer, has yesterday notified the Company that he sold 311,104 Petropavlovsk PLC ordinary 1 pence shares on 6 May 2016 at 8.8 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Chekaskin has an interest in 4,450,000 Petropavlovsk PLC ordinary 1 pence shares, representing 0.135% of the Company's total voting rights.
