Board Change
The Board of Photo-Me International PLC has today appointed John Lewis OBE as Non-Executive Chairman. John replaces Hugo Swire MP, who has been appointed Minister of State for Northern Ireland in the new UK Government and consequently resigned on Friday 14 May as Non-Executive Chairman and Director, in line with the principles laid out in the Cabinet Office's Ministerial Code.
John joined the Board on 3 July 2008 and was appointed Senior Independent Non-executive Director on 1 July 2009. He is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees. A solicitor by background, John was previously a partner in Lewis Lewis and Co which became part of Eversheds LLP after a series of mergers. Currently he serves as a Director of AIM traded companies Prime People PLC and G R (Holdings) PLC, as well as several private companies and acts as a consultant to Eversheds. He has also served as Chairman of Cliveden PLC and Principal Hotels plc and as Vice Chairman of John D Wood & Co PLC and Pubmaster Group Ltd.
