Johnston Press plc (the "Company"), has been informed that Mike Butterworth, who will join the Company as a Non-Executive Director on 1 June 2016, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Cambian Group plc with effect from 27 April 2016.

This announcement is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.
