Director Shareholding Update
The Company announces that in the announcement made on 26 February 2014 regarding, inter alia, awards made under the HMRC approved Hurricane Energy plc Share Incentive Plan Share (the "Announcement"), the resultant shareholdings of certain directors were incorrect and should have been notified as set out below:

As stated in the Announcement, the Company's total issued and voting share capital comprises 632,267,788 Ordinary Shares. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, securities of the Company.
