HMV Group PLC15 January 2007 HMV Group plc Notification of Interests of Directors and Persons Discharging ManagerialResponsibility HMV Group plc ('the Company') was notified on 12 January 2007 that on that dateSimon Fox had purchased 7,132 ordinary shares in the Company (representing0.002% of the issued share capital of the Company) at 139p per share. Followingthis transaction Mr Fox's beneficial interest in the issued share capital of theCompany is 37,132 ordinary shares, which represents 0.009% of the issued sharecapital. The Company was also notified on 15 January 2007 that Neil Bright had exercisedoptions on 15 January 2007 over 30,198 ordinary shares with an exercise price of18.73p per share. 12,762 of these shares were subsequently sold on the samedate at a price of 138.75p per share to cover the associated tax liability andMr Bright retained 17,436 shares. Following this transaction Mr Bright'sbeneficial interest in the issued share capital of the Company is 242,184ordinary shares, which represents 0.060% of the issued share capital. The Company was further notified on 15 January 2007 that on the same date ElaineMarriner had bought 1,000 ordinary shares in the Company (representing less than0.001% of the issued share capital of the Company) at 140p per share. Followingthis transaction Mrs Marriner's beneficial interest in the Company is 5,319ordinary shares, which represents 0.001% of the Company's issued share capital.
