Directors' Dealing - Long Term Incentive Plan ('LTIP') Award

Electrocomponents Plc (the 'Company') announces that the following conditional award of ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ('Shares') was made to the Executive Directors of the Company under the Company's LTIP on 30 June 2009:

Ian Mason (Group Chief Executive)  386,165 Shares

Simon Boddie (Group Finance Director) 193,082 Shares 

No consideration is payable for the Shares. Vesting of the Shares will normally take place at the third anniversary of the award date. The proportion of an award that vests will be subject to the satisfaction of a performance condition, as detailed in the Annual Report.
