Issue of Equity

Advanced Power Components plc, the UK specialist distributor and manufacturers' representative of electronic components, is pleased to announce that the Company has issued 437,420 new ordinary shares of 2p each ("Shares") to Mr and Mrs S Fish (218,710 Shares) and Mr and Mrs E Malisoff (218,710 Shares) at a subscription price of 15.15p per Share, raising proceeds £66,268 which will be used for general working capital purposes. Mr Fish and Mr Malisoff are the owners of Malfish Enterprises LLC and two of the individuals behind the energy saving technology that APC adapted for use in its 'imop' energy saving product.

Application has been made for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, with effect from 7 July 2010. Immediately following the issue of these Shares, the Company will have 25,150,928 ordinary shares in issue.

Commenting on the share issue, Mark Robinson, Chief Executive of Advanced Power Components, said:

 "This investment in APC by the owners of Malfish Enterprises LLC strengthens the relationship between the two companies. Malfish is developing a number of environmental technology devices which we hope will increase our portfolio of products in the future and further help us to take advantage of what we believe is a very important growth market."
