Advanced Power Components (AIM: APC), the UK specialist distributor and manufacturers' representative of electronic components, announces that Rod Muir, Finance Director, will be leaving the Company by mutual consent with effect from 31 May 2009.  His departure is a reflection of the changing needs of the business and his changing personal circumstances. The Company is actively pursuing the appointment of a new Finance Director and a further announcement will be made in due course.

The Board would like to thank Rod for the significant contribution he has made to APC since joining the Company in March 2004 and wish him well for the future.
