Anglo African Oil & Gas plc ("AAOG" or "the Company")
Result of General Meeting
Anglo African Oil & Gas plc announces that, at the general meeting, which was held at 12.00 noon today (the "General Meeting") the resolution put to the meeting was duly passed.
The passing of the resolution at the General Meeting has the effect of amending the consideration payable by Zenith Energy Limited for an 80% interest in Anglo African Oil & Gas Congo SA (the "Disposal") in the manner as announced on 24 March 2020. The Disposal remains subject to certain regulatory requirements in the Republic of Congo, including consent of the Minister of Hydrocarbons. The timing of these consents remains uncertain given the Covid-19 pandemic. Should the Disposal complete, the Company will become an AIM Rule 15 cash shell.
