UBC Media Group PLC20 July 2006 Statement Re: Directorate UBC Media Group plc London, 20 July 2006 - Roger Silverstone, non-executive director of UBC MediaGroup plc (UBC:LN) and member of the Audit and Remuneration committees, died on16 July following a routine operation. Roger was Professor of Media and Communications at the London School ofEconomics, having previously worked in television research and production forLondon Weekend Television, Associated Television and the BBC. Roger joined the UBC board in July 2001, having previously held a non-executivedirectorship at Freeserve plc.
