1. The options have to be paid for by the new executives (in 8 years)
2. These are long options at 8 years - yes its very likely we will be well above the option price by then but as share holders we can buy shares today and get a better deal than the new executives.

Savannah appoint two new Executives. These are roles are specifically to secure financing for mining and Media relations. David Archer showing real intent.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Sascha Keen as a Strategic Financing Executive with immediate effect. Sascha was previously engaged as a consultant to the Company and is expected to be instrumental in securing project finance for Mina do Barroso as it enters the development phase.

Valérie Mella as Senior Investor Relations and Media Executive with immediate effect."

Both have been granted 8 year share options at 20% and 60% premium to todays price.

Good reaction from the market - up 6% broke the 4p barrier. Image what EIA approval will do ;-)

After the declaration by the Portuguese Government to go ahead with the tender for addition Li mining areas and the very positive post from David Archer it all adds up to the EIA approval process looking imminent.

Or to put another way, the tender for new areas wouldn't be going ahead if the government were planning to reject EIA MdB approval as absolutely no one would bid! (especially after they already cancelling the lithium mine in Montalegre)

RNS - drilling results usually on a Wednesday every 14 days - we are over due.

Just checked 17% of my portfolio and my biggest holding in one share.

Weighed up the risk reward here and even if a buyout doesn't happen we know EUA are capable of mining so will hold for the long term.

Agree with your analysis Iaintittle - but I doubt very much that Bert would put the 1-2Moz in a shareholder presentation if he didn't believe we would achieve it.

Like this bit in the Presentation, suggesting that the major shareholders like a sale($1.2bn would give us a share price of £3.50 - hold on tight!)

Very tricky to set a time line as no deal has 100% been agreed. My take on the critical path is :-

RNS confirming Monchetundra flanks resource/mining plan - at 6 weeks
EUA and NN (or other) agree offer price - at 8 weeks
Offer/Dividend declared - at 9 weeks
Vote on offer - at 11 weeks
Dividend payed - at 14 weeks

So in time for Christmas :-)
