alkaid was a production well not just an appraisal well the narrative changed as the issues began.

That sounds good but they said last night they were only set up to sell the crude not the NGLS or any other hydrocarbons which is just the 200B's/Day.
They stated it would be millions not tens of millions to build the above ground infrastructure to process all the hydrocarbons but what timescales are we talking about there as at the moment they can only earn what $16K/day max gross which doesn't seem very much for the cap.

Will watch more carefully in future.

Looks like Zim is trying to expand its diamond business and so will need to up its international cred (imho) no doubt the reason for wanting to tidy up this business with vast.
Hopefully zim will see the need to be seen to be honest in their dealings with them.

Wouldn't argue with that Sandy although would note from the diamond index chart Jan 2021 was quite a low for diamond prices worldwide so perhaps add some percentage more for that.
Need more info from the co. which I presume is coming down the line given the Jan timetable announced in the RNS.

Zim have certainly been shown to be corrupt in the past.
This Newman individual though also had a torrid time with them and had 43K carots confiscated, one third of what Vast have to go for.
Hoping their diamonds are worth one third of his 43K carots in dollar terms still gives $100M USD so a very interesting play this month imho.

Understood, noted your negativity but believe it will be interesting to see where this goes all the same.
Vast have always had a decent case re the concessions and its widely reported that they lost them due to political shenanigans favouring the Chinese and Russians over the Europeans.
Should imagine both sides will want a tidy finish to this, Vast so they can have their diamonds if not their concessions back, Zim so they no longer look so corrupt to the wider investment community.
Next RNS on it should be the teller imo. Is the case moving forward and are they going to be given the diamonds as a peace offering and pay off from the Zim gov?

Getting interesting here again though imo, liking the positive noises and expected improvements going forward just a case of getting the timing right for a long trade imo though guess that trying to pick the exact bottom is a mugs game.

They all are when you're waiting on drilling success scamp. These have stabilized on production but need some luck with the drill and to be honest with today's marketcap they don't need a lot of luck to justify a rise.
Would rather be here hoping for a positive result on the horizontal than on one of the bigger plays in the sector such as panr. Nothing against them, wish them well on the drill but this minnow is priced to fail already so where's the big downside?
