Just wondering if any of our esteemed members are located in the Whaley Bridge area currently threatened by the possibility of the collapse of the dam holding back the Toddbrook reservoir? Fortunately, 613 Squadron were not involved this time, just the bloody British weather we have too endure these days. Away from the repetitive discussion that has mired this BB for what seems a lifetime, it appears the Yorkshire Dales have been converted into a marina after a drop of rain. It might be just that MM is on his hols, surfin' and stuff and has lost track of time cos he's enjoying his self so much. You also have to take into account the time it must take to dry that mane of hair and his chest wig, find his suit and hi-viz, polish his helmet (ahem), recharge the drone etc. It's all consuming being an entrepreneur thee nose!!

Kev, I presume that tungsten pellets would not taint the game as lead shot would do, but the ducks etc on the receiving end would still be very dead and, apologies to any veggies unt vegans out there, very tasty? Just looked back at the projects on the Wres website and read the following passage.

So then, what happened to that idea, a year later and we know as little, if not less, about Tarouca than we do Regua. At least we now know Regua has road widening in progress, which is a good sign, but will the road extend the 45km to Tarouca?? Of course not but it would be good to know what the plan is, wouldn't it?

Kev, I then presume that the infrastructure will be stacked on pallets and delivered by big lorries coming along the new wider road. I did see in the background some electric pythons which might come in handy if we can find a wire long enough to plug into one? If not, we'll have to pay the Portugeezers a few Scooters or Ecus to bring one a bit closer. The other options of course include building a big windy mill or breeding electric eels in a huge pond. You can never have enough infrastructure in my book.
