Layla. I sent details directly to HMRC outlining detailed tax losses for the past 4 years amounting to £100K. (Ouch!) I didn't need to complete a Tax assessment. They accepted and recorded the losses in readiness for me to set against a profit. So I am hoping that EUA come up with the good before the end of the carrent tax year otherwise the oldest year drops off.
As a very LTH of this share, I never imagined get bored with it. Whether analysing the RNSs or dipping in and out of the BB's for so long, it's becoming a never ending groundhog day. Getting to the point now where Greta Thunberg's words are beginning to fit the bill...blah,blah,blah. Someone put us out of our misery. Even going bust would break the monotony :)
XL426 still based at Southend (Rochford) on the airfield perimeter when I recently moved out to Suffolk. Aluminium airframe affected by weather and bird dropping erosion. Used to be member of Vulcan Restoration Trust some years back, and had pleasure of stepping into the ****pit and also witnessing it powering up those Olympus 201 engines for a taxi-run roar up the runway. What a plane. What memories. Now I know what to buy when EUA brings home the bacon. Ah such things as dreams are made on. Ahhh.
In my decades of trading I have seen many, 'We have noticed a surge in price, but can find no reason etc..' but can't say I've seen a, 'The SP is way down what it ought to be,' before. Must have taken heed of some pressure. Not presumeably from we poor PI's who have been pouring our hearts out these past weeks. Onwards and upwards all. May you all become stinking rich.
Wow, up six tenths of a penny. I can hardly contain my excitement. Going to the shop for a scratch card. If it reveals three £2 symbols I'll be straight round to the car showroom. Well alright, it might have only put a halt to the sinking misery, but we LTHs have to do something to raise our spirits, even if only juvenile folly and humour, while we patiently scrape the barnacles of the hull.
I recently had a long conversation with HMRC about my four years of losses of over £100K. Very helpful. Just asked me to detail them in a letter and they would be recorded for the future. Did just that. No arguments, no problems, and duly acknowledged. Now just waiting for EUA to deliver so I can make use of them.
No Tillywhizz. I want the solitude. After hearing all this EUA chatter, and suffering impatience for years, I couldn't stand listening to everyone's analysis of the results forever, while snuggling my toes in the warm sand. So clear off the lot of you and find your own islands !! he he. Good weekend to all.
Come now Tillywhiz. We are all greedy, and all in it together. MM's, shorters, directors, II's, P.I's. Everyone is trying to make a buck out of EUA at the end of the day. Let's not be surprised. I know I am greedy, but let's accept everyone is trying to make money for their own reasons in their own way (however cunning we might think). Not a MM, but another PI who has been on board scrubbing the decks in the hope that the captain will soon drop me off on some tropical paradise. GL to all.
I cannot work out who are the most dangerous posters for PI's to listen to..the hype crew 'You'll all be buying a tropical island on Monday' or the shorters 'You won't be able to afford a tot of rum by the end of the day' The' overboard's and the' weigh anchor' extremists are costing lowly investors their hard earned pieces of eight. Best advice is to ignore both and to stay in the calm waters where common sense prevails. My experience is BB's take more money from the poor than the often blamed MMs
Yes, I definitely drink to "Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it," Jarrovian, but when is some devil going to open that wallet so we can say "And—which is more—you’ll be a (RICH) Man, my son!"
Have a good weekend folks.
