Perhaps next week there still might be some SP growth in terms of bullish speculation and then one of three scenarii in September:

1. Great data and further SP growth

2. Good data readouts, small SP spike and then larger retrace and breather realising that much of the recent growth has probably met/aligned with company valuation. Future growth would then need an RNS catalyst I would imagine

3. Non-satisfactory data and big retrace

I would welcome others’ inputs to see if I missing anything.

SP has increased another dollar since I sold up 50%. Having some seller’s regret but could have equally gone the other way since, so swings and roundabouts.

One tactic I was thinking of as it was going up and up was to sell off 25% to de-risk a chunk … and then if in your case it makes it to $18 or thereabouts, you can derisk the remainder. It’s still another 40% upside from here to get to $18 and at some point I would assume that this recent rise will need to take a breather and retrace a chunk.

Wonder what might yet happen between now and the WCLC Conference second week of September, in terms of SP movement (focused on sentiment and bullishness) and/or further news.

Evening! I didn’t get to the Games. Relocated back to the UK a couple of years back for work. It won’t be forever, but for now, la France is no longer home ;-(

It looked amazing and friends were all very pleasantly surprised about how good it was and how good the French were about it, notably the Parisians!

On the topic of SMMT, it’s been some ride so far! Even this morning dropping 4% before then rallying back to 5% up!

I made the decision to eliminate my risk tonight, and was finally able to make up for that horror DMD loss on June 2016 … 8 years later.

I can run the “free shares”, sit back and truly enjoy whatever comes next, knowing I have been a “responsible adult, partner and dad”, although pulling the trigger was not easy. Onwards and upwards as FreeMoney used to say.

Well this is exciting ... on the cusp of on-paper multibagging and the aforementioned $14 is only 12% away based on this morning's premarket transactions at $12.50.

Also … it’s days like today where AIM comes into its own. Not often you see - in my portfolio at least - what will no doubt be 100%+ increase, albeit a re-rate back to a semblance of where we have known the company should have been at for some time. Doesn’t quite offset the tribulations of cliff face SP drops that happen all too often … but got to celebrate the wins where we can :)

Sentiment is positive but it is heavy in bullish speculation.

For me, the fact that Duggan holds such a large proportion of the shares is a point that should not be ignored. If you can afford the long game, then there is truly something here I believe.

If you can de-risk your initial investment and have “free shares” then do so at your earliest convenience. This will depend on your own appetite for risk / greed / fortune. I personally do not want to give away more than 50% to de-risk but that means continuing to hold for 2$ more.

Having held since 2012 … another year or two or five, especially if de-risked, makes no difference to me. Particularly with the chance of a first in class, better than Merck, multi-billion $ annual revenue potential solution.

Whether it will be bought out or the drugs licensed out post Ph3, assuming no adverse results, who knows. Multi-year collaborations like the one announced yesterday (https://www.smmttx.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/2024_PR_0725_SMMT-MD-Anderson-Collaboration-_-FINAL.pdf ) suggest there is long-term ambition that the company may not wish to cede.

Ultimately, for many, you are back in the black assuming you held, for the first time in forever. But in that same period, the research has progressed and it’s no longer UK based Summit looking at DMD.

I’ve no available funds to buy, although I really wish I did when we were scraping 1$. Instead, I shall hold for glory and de-risk when I am ready.

To be fair … it took a lot of people by surprise particularly after the drop a few days earlier. Friday, prior to the halt, I think it was trading circa 9$ … so don’t be too hard on yourself! Hopefully the beginning of something epic. On another board, I was drawn to the attention of CASSAVA SCIENCES, which went from circa $2 to $100 in around 18 months. Not advocating that this will happen here, but made for fun daydreaming for 5 minutes!

Interesting turn of events: trading halt pending news. But not before some very chunk in-the-know trades might have gone in at the last minute. Many assuming the halt is because of the content in the press conference Monday.

Wait and see.

Morning all ... I nearly fell off my chair this morning. I thought Google Finance was registering an error ... fimrly back in the black and then some just now.

If any wise souls want to advise their thoughts for me or Chris's son as to where we "think" this could go (I use "" because who among us really know much of anything haha), I am all ears. Fridays are always fun ... I imagine it will go a little bananas and then a sell-off into the weekend. The question being however ... what legs and potential does this news bring?

Am I reading it correctly: buy 2, get 1 free? But only exercisable if the SP goes up 50% for the issue price, to 0.17$ on or before 15/11/26? How long does it need to stay above that, do we know?

I’m 50% down and happy to hold for as long as it takes. Question for the uneducated then: we see a lot of RNS showing the geological surveying results and strong indications of shallow depth deposits available potentially en masse.

But what is to be the turning point or news , aside something more commercial (merger/buyout type), that will generate a positive step change from which we shall not likely see a reversal back to the 1-3 penny levels?

And even if it’s a crystal ball, have we an idea of a potential timeframe for such news?
