Unfortunately the takeover is the best option for the board. They continue on their high wages and they get rid of all those annoying original investors who keep bothering them wanting updates. It's a win win for them.
No way of voting if you're with Trading 212. The whole process has been a stitch up.
Has anyone heard from Trading 212? Are they going to give us a chance to vote?
Anyone with Trading212 needs to contact them to make sure you get a vote. In the past they have needed a nudge to pass on that option. I'm also voting NO. Unfortunately the institutions voting YES, will most probably get this through.
Documents outlining the offer have now been sent out to Velocys shareholders, and a vote on the proposal at court and general meetings has been scheduled for 8 January 2024.
Carbon Direct Fund has agreed to provide a secured bridging loan of £3.5m to provide sufficient capital for Velocys through to completion of the acquisition.
I bet you're fun at parties 🥺
It's staggering how poorly the management have performed here. At the very least I hope their reputations are in tatters and they've had a few sleepless nights. Our money is gone and they have fat bank accounts, which doesn't sit well with me.
My concern is that apart from this big buyer, nothing has actually changed. It seems to be alot of ifs and maybes.
I know the moment I buy more it'll drop like a stone. I'm doing you all a favour, and not adding to my investment. 2.8 average here.
If Velocys does go bust, where will expatbrat go next to spin his special kind of bile?
They are 99.6% down, with no PR and they've stopped replying to emails. The end to this fiasco can't be far off.
Our only hope is if someone buys us out, as this boat is going under.
The market cap is now under £20 million. The whole board have proven themselves to be incompetent and unfit to run a company.
This is the definition of a badly run company.
This is bleeding daily. Some good news would be appreciated.
Loosely and Expatbrat are the Batman and Robin of FUD.
Far more likely that it'll drift into administration rather than recover. Management aren't driven to excel on their current bloated salaries. One to put down to experience and move on.
