TechMARK movers: Mystery slump for Cryptologic

Fri, 18th Mar 2011 14:15
Shares in online gaming software provider Cryptologic have slumped in London even though there appears to have been no trades. The fall came just before Nasdaq opened and there was no upturn in the share price in London even though the Nasdaq price rose 11 cents to $1. There is a large discrepancy between the London and US share price making it sensible to buy in London and sell on Nasdaq - but that depends on whether there are shares to buy. There is very little trading in the sahres in London, though. The London bid/offer spread of 20p/50p means that the discrepancy is not as large as might be thought when based on mid-prices. Cryptologic is due to report its full year figures. Chips supplier Imagination Technologies has perked up after further reflection of its trading statement on Wednesday.
