LONDON (Alliance News) - Staffline Group PLC said Wednesday it is confident in meeting its full-year expectations after posting a rise in half-year revenue and profit.
For the six months to June 30, the recruitment and training company recorded 12% rise in revenue to GBP481.0 million from GBP427.8 million year-on-year.
By division, the company's recruitment unit saw revenue up 16% to GBP429.6 million from GBP369.9 million, while PeoplePlus's, Staffline's training service unit, revenue dropped 11% to 51.4 million from GBP57.9 year-on-year.
Pretax profit in the half-year rose to GBP10.5 million from GBP6.3 million in the comparative year ago period.
Staffline lifted its interim dividend by 2.7% to 11.3 pence per share, from 11.0p in the first half last year.
Shares in the company trading 0.4% lower at 1,048.00p each.
