LONDON (Alliance News) - Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC said Friday owing to market demand it has issued 700,000 of its shares from treasury.
The shares were issued for cash on Friday at a price of 507.00 pence per share, at a premium to the prevailing net asset value.
Shares in the trust closed down 0.8% at 508.50 pence.
Following the issuance there are now 1.40 billion shares in issuance excluding the 16.3 million held in treasury.
